TENKYO Co., Ltd. hereby announces that it will merge with its group company, Eisen Sake Brewery Co., Ltd., effective 1 March 2026.
As a result of this merger, Eisen Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. will be absorbed into TENKYO Co., Ltd. and will cease to exist as a separate legal entity. However, the philosophy of sake brewing and the Eisen brand, which have been carefully cultivated over many years, will be fully inherited and carried forward by TENKYO.
Purpose of the Merger
TENKYO has developed its own expertise and traditions in the production and sale of whisky, while Eisen has done so in the production and sale of sake.
In response to the diversification of consumer preferences, changes in the domestic and international market environment, and the growing need to strengthen sustainable production systems, the purpose of this merger is to integrate the management resources of both companies and establish a more competitive alcoholic beverages business.
Continuation of the Eisen Brand
The sake-brewing techniques, brewery facilities, product lines, and strong ties to the local community that Eisen Sake Brewery has built over many years will continue to be preserved by TENKYO Co., Ltd. following the merger.
After the merger, the Eisen brand will continue to be produced and sold with the same uncompromising commitment to quality, while further enhancing its product value.

Reservations will open from 9:00 a.m. on Friday, 1 August, and tours will begin from Friday, 8 August.
